Hira, my twin and I are together in Puyallup, Wa. 2015, contemplating our 30 years of having the Gift of Reiki in our lives. Reiki is a gift that keeps on giving, every time we put our hands on ourselves and on others. Just the thought that sacred symbols are drawn on you by a Reiki Master and the gift is bestowed to you. A gift for you for the rest of your life. How magical is that?











Reiki comes to us in 1985, Hira Barbara Reid in Tacoma, Wa and Jean C. Ferris in Honolulu, Hi. Jean followed Hira in this life experience. Helen J. Haberly became our Reiki Master. How blessed was that and how blessed we were. Initiation changed our paths and our lives. Would we have ever thought  change could come so easily. Would we have ever imagined the course of Reiki guiding the magic and mystery?






Would we ever had imagined what the pictures of Reiki experiences would have looked like?
   

Our parents were healed of their anger and resentment towards each other. Both became Reiki   students. Both parents chose Reiki as their support system in their dying process.

My granddaughters, Georgia and Flora are Reiki babies, having Reiki given to them in utero and thru their deliveries. and lives.

Reiki has opened the door to many service projects.

Reiki introduced ourselves to all of our bodies. and to experience that wholeness. The Healing your Bodies Workshops were revealed.

Reiki has filled us with light and dropped us to our knees in humbleness.
   







We had Reiki to support people pre- op and post operatively. Distant treatments fill  time and space to those in need.
      Fears were dissolved and pain vanished in the dark of night.
      Reiki has helped in feeling safe and vulnerable at the same time.

 Reiki lets people sleep. That is the biggest miracle.
      Someone wakes up and discovers they are still alive.

Someone doesn't wake up and they are in the light and the Divine truth surrounds them.
   Reiki has supported a lot of people being born and a lot of people die with truth and dignity




      A headache went away.
      Blood pressure is lowered without medication.
      Reiki kept my plants alive and my food alive
.
      I have lots of frequent flyer miles.
      I have taught Reiki all over the world.
   
      Animals love reiki and receive comfort.
      Reiki quiets the mind, balances the emotional storms.
      To feel grounded for the first time.

These Texas Twins, Barbara C. Reid and Jean C. Reid were born identical and mirror images on April 23, 1943, in El Paso Texas. They were painfully shy, talking their own language that was known only to each other, hiding behind the couches when the doorbell would ring and digging their boot heels into the ground with a show of resistance. Not a promising picture with a Big Bang outcome. Life does happen and destiny is revealed! Blessings come down their paths like flower blossoms dropping from Divine spaces.

Gifts of support, teachers and Masters are revealed to them along the way. Gifts of opportunities fill the spaces in their lives and flow between them. A tapestry of unmistakable events create remarkable lives that are shared and yet uniquely distinct.  What 4 hands have experienced and changed the lives of thousands of thousands with Reiki over 30 years.


We sit and honor this gift and hope you sit and reflect on your
gift of Reiki. Never forget what was given to you and what flows thru your hands to give to yourself and share with others. It warms your heart and puts a smile on your Soul! Reiki On forever!  My Soul rejoices as it reaches it's destiny.
